Cranberry-Glazed Ham Steaks
Ingredients
Directions
- Melt half of the butter in a large skillet set over medium-high heat. Add one ham steak and brown on both sides. Transfer the ham steak to a plate and brown the second ham steak in the remaining tablespoon of butter. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- Discard all but 1 tablespoon of fat from the skillet and add the cranberry sauce, orange juice, brown sugar, and mustard. Whisk until the brown sugar has completely dissolved. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the glaze thickens slightly. Add the ham steaks back to the skillet and coat in the glaze.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Recipe Tip: This glaze would also be great on pork tenderloin or chicken.
