6 Spooky Treats for Your Next Halloween Party

Are you hosting a Halloween party this year? Take it to the next level with these 6 easy recipes for spooky Halloween treats.

  1. Strawberry Ghosts: Whip up a batch of strawberry ghosts in 20 minutes. Simply melt white chocolate and dip the strawberries into it. Place the covered strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and create spooky faces using mini chocolate chips and melted chocolate. Place the strawberries in the refrigerator so that all of the chocolate hardens.
  2. Fake Teeth Apples: Create smiles with these fun Halloween snacks. Core and slice red apples into wedges. Add a layer of peanut butter to one side of the apple wedges. Line mini marshmallows on an apple slice, then place another apple slice on top. You can even add candy corn fangs to make spooky treats.
  3. Halloween Marshmallow Pops: Marshmallow pops are Halloween snack ideas that are simple to make and fun for kids. Place pretzel sticks into jumbo-sized marshmallows, then dip them in melted milk chocolate. Allow the kids to add orange, red, white, and brown sprinkles or decorate them however they wish. Place the marshmallow pops in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
  4. Bloody S'mores: Bloody s'mores are spooky Halloween treats better suited for older kids and adults. Make the s'mores as you normally would with graham crackers, chocolate bars, and toasted marshmallows. Before sandwiching it all together, drip red cookie icing over it so that it oozes out of the sides. Drip it on the plate for a ghoulish presentation.
  5. Mandarin Orange Jack-o-Lanterns: If you're looking for healthy Halloween snack ideas, look no further than the produce department. The average child eats about three cups of sugar on Halloween, according to Insider, so having some healthy options is a plus. Grab a bag of oranges and a permanent marker to make adorable jack-o-lanterns. Draw funny and spooky faces on the peels before placing them in a large bowl.
  6. Pumpkin Patch Brownies: Give your brownies a spooky makeover for Halloween by adding orange sprinkles, candy pieces, or chocolate chips. Mix your favorite Food Lion brownie mix according to the directions, then top with sprinkles and candy. When they come out of the oven, add candy pumpkins to complete your pumpkin patch
