Easy Margarita Recipe #3: Fresh Cucumber

Are you a big fan of cucumbers? This easy margarita recipe is refreshing, crisp and packed with cucumber flavor. It’s like a spa day in a glass! If your friends are fellow cucumber-lovers, you should definitely try making this recipe for your next get-together. Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

  • 4 oz. of Silver Tequila
  • 2 oz. of Elderflower Liqeur
  • 1 Cucumber (cut into thin slices)
  • 1 tsp. of Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp. of Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp. of Agave Nectar

To mix this margarita, first, add the tequila, elderflower liqueur and agave to your shaker. Then, cut your lemon and lime, squeeze and add a teaspoon of each to the shaker.

For your cucumber, you have two options to prepare it for this drink. The first option is soaking the slices in tequila overnight. Add the slices to the glass and add the infused tequila to the glass as well (in place of the other tequila). The second option is to crush (or muddle) the cucumber in a glass or small bowl and add to the shaker.

Finally, shake, shake, shake and pour the margarita into a glass over ice.

Easy Margarita Recipe #4: Spicy Grapefruit

This drink is a citrus sensation with a kick! When you take a sip, you’ll get a punch of sweet grapefruit with a subtle hint of spice (although you can make it spicier if you want to). It’s the perfect party drink and something unexpected. Wow your friends with this easy margarita recipe!

  • Juice from 1 Large Grapefruit
  • Juice from 2 Limes
  • 1 tbsp. of Honey (or agave nectar)
  • 3 oz. of Gold Tequila
  • Sea salt & chili powder for coating the glass rim
  • 1 Jalapeno (cut into slices)

The first step to crafting this spicy margarita recipe is to squeeze the juice from a large grapefruit, as well as two limes. Next, add ice to your shaker and pour the juice in.

Now it’s time to cut up your jalapeno. If you want to make your margaritas less spicy, remove the seeds from your jalapeno before chopping. Otherwise, go ahead and slice the whole jalapeno. Add it to the shaker plus the tequila and honey. Mix well.

Use any leftover lime to dampen the rim of your glass. Dip the glass in your salt and chili powder mixture. Add ice cubes and pour your margarita.

Voila! Your spicy grapefruit margarita is ready to enjoy.
