When it comes to the holidays, food is at the center of it all. Who doesn’t look forward to the roasted entrees, baked casseroles and sweet treats? But, before it’s time for the main meal, offer your loved ones a savory starter to snack on. This Sausage and Cheese Spread can be made the night before and requires no time in the oven, which makes for a stress-free appetizer that everyone will love!

Directions

  1. Beat the Boursin® cheese until smooth in a large bowl using a hand mixer. Fold in the sausage strips, cheddar, mayonnaise, garlic powder and onion powder until combined.
  2. Form into two 6-inch logs. Roll the logs in the Gardetto’s™ Snack Mix to evenly coat. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  3. Serve the cheddar logs with crackers, pretzel sticks, celery and carrots.

Recipe Tip: If the turkey begins to brown too quickly cover loosely with an aluminum foil tent.
