Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and adjust the oven rack to the lowest position. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with the cooking spray. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and sauté, breaking up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Sauté until fully cooked and beginning to brown, about 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain any excess grease. Set aside.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters and roll into balls. Toss the biscuits, cooked sausage, mozzarella, Parmesan, butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and onion powder in a large bowl until coated. Spread, in an even layer, onto the prepared baking dish. Bake until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 30-40 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until heated through. Keep hot until ready to serve.
  4. Top the pull apart bread with parsley and serve with the marinara sauce.

Recipe Tip: Substitute white cheddar, colby or Monterey Jack for mozzarella cheese.
