Who doesn't like a thick, saucy grilled cheese sandwich. But, with a twist. The Swiss cheese adds a kick that normal grilled cheese sandwiches are lacking.

Directions

  1. To make the sauce, combine the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  2. 2. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. On a griddle, grill over medium heat until lightly toasted. Carefully remove from heat. Let cool briefly. (For extra crispiness, all four sides of the bread will be grilled.)
  3. Spread the desired amount of sauce mixture on the toasted side of one of the slices of bread.
  4. Layer the bacon over the sauce, add the Swiss, and add a bit more sauce. Top with the other slice of bread (grilled-side down)
  5. Spread softened butter on the top of the sandwich, flip, and place on the griddle. Grill until lightly toasted, then spread butter on the final untoasted side, flip, and grill.
