This crave-worthy dish combines two timeless and cost-effective weeknight dinners: pizza and sloppy joes. There’s a lot to love here — plenty of saucy, savory, messy goodness in every bite, plus the recipe comes together in just 25 minutes! Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and pepper, then cook for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink. Drain the excess liquid.
  2. Add the marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to the beef and mix to combine. Bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened with some juice left in the pan.
  3. Evenly divide the beef mixture between the kaiser roll bottom buns and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Place on a baking sheet and broil for 1 minute or until the cheese is melted. Add the top buns and serve immediately.

Recipe Tip: Alternatively, fold the shredded cheese into the beef mixture for a cheesy filling!"
