This classic New Orleans-inspired sandwich is named after a type of round Italian bread. Here, we give it a little twist with fluffy Hawaiian sweet rolls dressed with a briny olive spread and stuffed generously with deli meats and cheeses. Serving the muffuletta as sliders is ideal for parties, tailgates or picnics!

Directions

  1. Add the olives, oil and mustard to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Slice all 12 rolls, without separating, horizontally in half. Spread the olive mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Top with a layer of the salami, bologna, ham and provolone. Top with the remaining rolls.
  3. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Slice into individual sliders and serve.

Recipe Tip: Substitute your favorite deli meats for the salami, bologna and ham to create your own personalized sliders!
