Directions

  1. Mix 1/2 cup frosting with 5-6 drops red food coloring, or more for darker color.
  2. Spoon red frosting into the corner of a zip-top baggie, and snip a very small piece off of the corner of the baggie.
  3. Prepare marshmallows on a plate. Gently squeeze red frosting through the tiny corner of the baggie, onto the flat tops of the marshmallows. Draw two semi-circles, going opposite directions, onto the tops of each marshmallow to resemble the laces of a baseball.
  4. Draw 3-4 tiny lines across each semi-circle, to resemble the stitching in the laces.
  5. Repeat on desired amount of marshmallows.
  6. Use the same process with the additional 1/2 cup of frosting and an alternate colored frosting, preferably your team’s color, to write on other marshmallows.
  7. Skewer any piece of fruit onto a metal skewer, followed by marshmallows. The marshmallows will slide much easier onto the skewers if they are following the fruit.
  8. Design fruit skewers to your liking, and serve immediately!
