Mix up your favorite sugar cookie dough and dye it green and blue. Patch the dough together to create an Earth affect. Perfect for celebrating Earth Day!

  1. Place 1/3 of the prepared cookie dough in one bowl and use food coloring to dye it green. Place 2/3 of the cookie dough in another bowl and use the blue food coloring to dye it blue.
  2. Make 1 ½-inch balls using the blue dough and add 2 to 3 pieces of green dough in various places to achieve the desired effect.
  3. Place the dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet (at least 3 inches apart) and chill for 1 hour.
  4. Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven. If your Earths aren’t as “round” as you’d like, you can use your cookie cutter to tidy up the edges while the cookies are still warm.
