This slightly-sweet, slightly-spicy chicken curry dish creates a yummy gravy that turns an ordinary biscuit into a decadent topping nothing like Grandma used to make.

  1. Melt butter or oil in a skillet. Add frozen mixed vegetables, onion, celery, ginger, garlic, jalapeño and sauté on medium heat until tender.
  2. Add chicken and stir in curry, cayenne pepper, salt, crushed tomatoes, bay leaves and cilantro.
  3. Whisk flour into chicken broth and heat until thickened. Stir into chicken mixture.
  4. Top with biscuits and bake until biscuits are golden brown (12-15 minutes).
