This citrus-inspired version elevates ham to a new (and delicious) level!

  1. Peel the oranges, removing all the pith, and place the flesh and juice in a small saucepan along with the sugar and water.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until thickened (15 minutes or so). This is your orange marmalade.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cinnamon, garlic powder, pepper, brown sugar, and orange juice. When the orange marmalade is finished cooking, add half of it to the bowl of spices and mix well.
  4. Place the ham in a roasting pan and spoon the spice/marmalade mixture in between the slices of the ham as well as over the top of the ham. Bake the ham in a 325-degree oven for the length of time indicated on the package. After an hour or so, spoon the rest of the marmalade on the top of the ham and continue cooking until the ham is thoroughly heated.
