- Place the brisket in the slow cooker, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Place the onion around the brisket.
- In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, tomato sauce and mustard. Pour the mixture over the brisket. Add the apple cider to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours, or until the meat is tender. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and slice thinly across the grain.
- Spoon gravy over the beef brisket. Enjoy with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
