There's nothing better with a juicy burger than a sweet 'n spicy barbecue sauce. This one's a sure winner.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a saucepan and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Set aside half of the barbecue sauce to serve with the grilled burgers later. (Keep this separate from your basting barbecue sauce.)
- Place the burgers on the grill and generously brush them with the barbecue sauce. After two minutes of cooking, flip the burgers. Generously brush the other side of each burger with barbecue sauce and continue cooking for another two minutes. Apply more barbecue sauce to the first side of each burger and flip again. Continue cooking at least another 4 to 6 minutes or until done (internal temperature should reach a minimum of 160 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Serve with the reserved fresh barbecue sauce along with your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion) and on nice, thick hamburger buns.
