Entertain with some color and spice! This easy salad bursts with color and flavor. With just a touch of expected sweetness, it’s a healthy side or perfect for your next family gathering

Directions

  1. Place a large pot of water on the stove on medium high heat (not quite boiling). Add 1/2 orange, salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp. hot sauce.
  2. Add shrimp to pot and cook until shrimp are pink and done. Remove shrimp from pot of water and allow to cool in an ice bowl.
  3. Whisk together oil, orange juice, and 1 tbsp. hot sauce making a light dressing.
  4. Arrange arugula on a plate with granny smith apples, cucumber, and cooked shrimp. Drizzle on dressing and garnish with slivered almonds.
