Sunday Game Day Snacks Everyone Will Approve Of

When serving a crowd, it can be tough to find something to satisfy all tastes. Mix it up with a game-day buffet that captures the spirit of a tailgate and all of the familiar flavors. Mix and match according to the crowd and enjoy.

Spicy Popcorn

Pop up your favorite popcorn. Mix up garlic salt, chili powder, and onion powder. Toss popcorn with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly and toss again to coat thoroughly.

DIY Wings

Chicken wings are a game-day favorite, but the prep can be a lot of work. Make it easy by preparing frozen chicken strips and nuggets. Mix buffalo sauce with mayo or cream cheese to taste. Serve the buffalo dipping sauce in single-serve cups and offer ranch, blue cheese, and celery on the side.

Sandwich Roll-ups

When watching the big game, everyone loves to nosh on bites of this and that. Make it easy by preparing a variety of sandwich roll-ups so that everyone can try some of everything.  Layer deli meats and cheeses in different combinations on large flour tortillas.  For a veggie option, spread cream cheese on the tortilla and load it with crisp pepper strips, leaf lettuce, and thinly sliced cucumbers. Roll all the different types of sandwiches tightly and secure with toothpicks. Chill for an hour or so.  Remove from the refrigerator and slice into sections. Serve with a variety of condiments like spicy mustard and tangy mayonnaise.

Sweet and Savory Meatballs

This one is loved by kids and adults alike. Use your slow cooker to prepare this easy dish. Mix a jar of grape jelly with a jar of chili sauce. Pour over frozen cocktail meatballs and heat on low until warmed throughout.

Dessert Dips

When prepping the food for your game-day meal, don't forget dessert. You may not want to prepare one more thing, but add this easy dessert for a big taste with little effort.  Mix a container of whipped topping with the instant pudding flavor of your choice. Serve with fruit, vanilla wafer cookies, or graham crackers.
