Mother's Day is just around the corner and it's time to get crafty. That's why today, we're going to show you a few creative and inexpensive craft ideas perfect for kids this Mother's Day.

This whimsical art project is simple and fun for kids. First, draw your best dandelion. Then, have your child use his/her thumbprints to create the image of the dandelion blowing in the wind. This keepsake is super cute and will leave a lasting memory.

Does your mom love tea? Give her a unique flower tea bag bouquet this Mother's Day. Pick up mom's favorite tea the next time you're in Food Lion and attach a flower to each tea bag. For added flavor, you could even use edible flowers. This simple gesture can brighten anyone's day and bring some cheer to mom's afternoon tea.

Grab a few of mom's favorite things and place them in a super cute mason jar. This jar is filled with candy, chapstick, dry shampoo, room spray and of course, Tylenol. All of the essentials right at her fingertips!

It's planting season, so why not make mom a one-of-a-kind pot to add to her garden it cute? Grab an inexpensive pot, turn it upside down and let your child pour acrylic paint right over it. The paint will drizzle down and form a waterfall effect. Add mom's favorite plant and you've got the perfect gift!

These glasses are easy to make with mom's favorite colors. Simply pick up $1 dishwasher safe paint and, using Q-tips, dot the paint onto the glasses. Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and bake the glasses for about 30 minutes to allow the paint to set. The glasses can cool in the oven before use. While they will be dishwasher safe, hand washing will keep the paint looking fresh. Note: Glass, not arylic or plastic, is required to withstand the oven heat.

How about a bath? Fill a bowl with Epsom salts, add about 15 drops of lavender essential oil and mix well. Add dried lavender for aesthetics if desired and pour into a mason jar. Now, be sure to give mom a little time to enjoy the bath!

While it's the thought that counts, adding a touch of creativity to your gift will show mom how much you really appreciate all of her hard work.
