You need plain green paper cups, black ribbon and gold rhinestone or glitter stickers. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around the center of the cup. Secure it in place with a square piece of glitter sticker.

 Pot O' Gold

Leprechauns aren't the only ones who go crazy for gold. Everyone wants to find that elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. To make your own pots of gold, paint clay flower pots black. Once dry, use gold paint to paint the rims, and add other decorative touches to the outsides. Fill the pots with gold-wrapped candies and place them on the table or around your house to spread a bit of St. Paddy's Day luck.

 Irish Mason Jar Vases

Mason jars are inexpensive and versatile, making them popular for many DIY home decor projects. Rather than focusing on shamrocks, leprechauns and other St. Patrick's Day icons, make vases that pay tribute to Ireland itself. Paint green, white and orange horizontal stripes around the jar to represent the Irish flag. Add a bit of water to the jar and fill with a bouquet of flowers for a centerpiece for your table.
